Cheap Eats: Sausage and Champ

Serves 4 | 91p per portion

Ingredients

  • 8 pork sausages

  • 1kg Potatoes, chopped

  • 4 Spring Onions, chopped

  • 150ml milk

  • 80g butter

  • 80g Watercress, chopped

Method 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 and cook your favourite sausages for the recommended time, usually around 25mins.

  2. Meanwhile, boil your potatoes in a large pan until soft. Remove from the heat and ass the milk and butter – mash together before adding the spring onions and watercress. Give it a final mix to combine.

  3. Serve!
